Saashaa's
1st Birthday : (
20th. October 2000 )
Saashaa's
first birthday was a low profile household event. As Saashaa was
very uncomfortable in a crowd and with unfamiliar faces, a big party
would have given her trouble instead of joy....but a birthday she
did celebrate. A cake with her Parents, Grandparents and Aunts..

At
Aksa Beach : ( 25th. November 2000
)
Saashaa's
first visit to a beach, when we went to the Aksa beach one evening.
Although awed by all the water she was seeing for the first time,
she was reluctant to go in...settling down after sometime, she enjoyed
waddling in ankle deep waters and playing in the wet sands.

Saashaa's
Alibaug Trip : ( 23rd. - 24th. December 2000 )
The whole Agaskar family went for a picnic for the first time ever.
The location...Nagaon, near Alibaug. Saashaa was the youngest member
and it was two days of fun and enjoyment which she thoroughly enjoyed.
The crashing waves on the beach were too much for Saashaa, but all
and all it was great fun.

Saashaa
visits Pune : ( 9th. - 11th. February 2001 )
Saashaa travelled in train for over three hours for the first time,
when we visited her Uncle & Aunty ( Swaroop & Hetal ) in
Pune. Lots of fun again, especially at the mall called Nirman Mall,
where she saw thousand of soft toys while playing with the attendants
and the mirrors in the mall.

Matheran
: ( 7th. - 10th. March 2001 )
Four days-Three nights is so far the longest outing Saashaa has
had. Brightlands resort in Matheran was the perfect venue. Saashaa
freaked out on the swings and see-saws, while enjoying the meals
on her very special high chair, which used to be reserved just for
her!!. We did dip her in the pool but the water was a bit too cold
but that didnt keep her from flaunting around in her blue bikini.
Apart from the monkeys, which are the main attraction of Matheran,
Saashaa enjoyed riding when she rode a horse with her grandfather
for almost three hours on our way to the Sunset point and back.
